Circle House Gets New Custom-Made Stanek Windows
Stanek Windows Featured Project – January 2015
The owner of this circular house in Greenfield, Wisconsin, loves the uniqueness of her home, but it made finding replacement windows challenging. After contacting several vendors who could not give her what she wanted, she called on Stanek Windows in West Allis, Wisconsin. Because each Stanek® brand window they install is custom and made-to-order, they had no problem with the specialty windows.
The home had large picture windows with structural mullions (the vertical support between the glass units), flanked by double-hung windows. Because the mullions were structural, they could not be removed, but Stanek was able to replace the double-hung windows as well as the picture window with casement windows, to give the home a more modern look. The casement windows are also great for ventilation and cleaning is a breeze. The unique design of Stanek® casement windows allows for a 90-degree open angle for easy cleaning from the interior of the home.
Energy-efficient, double-pane insulated glass keeps the home comfortable and reduces heating and cooling bills. The fully-reinforced sash and frame ensures the longevity and durability of the windows, and a multi-point locking system secures the windows in several points for added security.
The homeowner is completely delighted with her new windows and the updated look of her home.
